IIPM Benefits & Salary Survey

In recent months Council of IIPM has put a renewed focus on communicating with external stakeholders to raise awareness of the industry and the value of IIPM qualifications. This work has included a redesign of the Institute’s website and undertaking a survey of members to establish salary and benefits enjoyed by those who are part of the Institute.

As with so many initiatives there was a high level of engagement from members who responded in great numbers to the salary survey. There was also significant interest in the results which were presented at a recent members’ seminar by Stephen O’Hanlon and a representative of The Reputations Agency who conducted the survey independently on behalf of the Institute. Given the interest among members we wanted to share the results and the presentation for those who weren’t able to join us that evening.

Universal Retirement Savings System – Consultation and Invitation for Submissions

The Government has decided to proceed with work to develop a roadmap and timeline for the introduction of a new Universal Supplementary Workplace Retirement Savings Scheme.

Preparation of this roadmap for consideration by Government has been initiated through the establishment of a Universal Retirement Savings Group (USRG) chaired by the Department of Social Protection.

In order to facilitate input from the various sectoral interests and utilise the range of existing expertise, the USRG undertook a broad consultation exercise in April/May of this year and as part of the first stage of that process the IIPM was invited to make a submission on behalf of our members.
